Member Qualifications

Our membership qualifications include the following criteria: Application Form

All forwarders in DGLA are required to meet the group’s exacting standards of experience, professionalism and financial strength.

No forwarder can become a DGLA member without satisfying the strict criteria set by WCA Family of Logistic Networks for experience, quality of service and reliability. Membership is constantly monitored to ensure these standards are maintained, assuring shippers and exporters of the highest levels of service, capability and security – every time.

Our membership qualifications include the following criteria:

  1. The application must be made by a member of the organization which is applying in legal form.
  1. The organization must be accident free from establishment.
  1. Company providing service in DG movements for a period of 10 years, without incident. Staff certified must have been with the company for a period of 3 years. Waiting period may be waived if the organization possesses a designated Trainer Certified staff. (However, membership is at discretion of WCA Management.)
  1. The organization must submit a certified copy of a valid DGR certification document of each staff certified at time of the membership application with copy of DGR course outline. The document must be valid with a minimum of three months time prior to expiration date.
  1. Must meet criteria for air/ocean international forwarding and local road/rail modes in transport.
  1. The Applicant must submit three references from its current DG customers of abilities and satisfaction. Reference will submit copies and make reference to DG articles being forwarded. Existing members need only submit references to Dangerous Goods clients.
  1. The Applicant will accept our request for submission of certifications at any period within its membership status and submit within 30 days from date of request.
